Xscape Fight Death

A 24 year old man left critically ill after a fight outside Milton Keynes' Xscape complex has died in hospital.
Joseph Kent was being treated at Milton Keynes Hospital after what happened close to the taxi rank at the side of the Xscape centre at around 3am on Sunday 13 January 2013.
Two other men, aged 22 and 25 were also injured in the fight and were treated in hospital but they have since been discharged.
Three men aged 25, 26 and 22 appeared at Milton Keynes Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 15 January 2012 each charged with one count of grievous bodily harm and two counts of actual bodily harm.
The group have been remanded in custody until Tuesday 22 January. Thames Valley Police say they will now be reviewing those charges in the light of the death of Joseph Kent.
Detective Chief Inspector Gill Wootton, senior investigating officer, said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the victim at this difficult time.”
“In light of the tragic death of the victim, we will be reviewing the charges after examination of the results of the post mortem and medical evidence, in conjunction with the CPS.
“The police are continuing to investigate this incident and we would urge anyone who has information or concerns relevant to the inquiry to call us.”
