How long till the heart melts?

A giant ice sculpted heart has been carved in Queen’s Court at thecentre:mk today (Friday February 11th).
The sculpture will symbolise the essence of Valentine’s day, encasing a single red rose and a sparkling engagement ring.
Couples who are shopping at thecentre:mk will have the chance to guess how long it will take for the ice heart to melt away and for the diamond to drop. Whoever makes the most accurate guess will have the perfect ring to propose to their loved one.
The diamond engagement ring comes from the jewellers ‘Fabulous’ at thecentre:mk. Jane Glean who's the store manager says:
“We have chosen to place a beautiful 0.4 carat square shaped solitaire princess cut diamond in the iced heart, the ring is set in a delicate open collete 18 carat white gold band. We hope that it can make one couple very happy this Valentine’s day. We have recently launched our engagement and wedding ring collections in store, so we are really pleased to be involved with this beautiful valentines sculpture.”

To enter visit Queen’s court at thecentre:mk to fill out an entry form and deliver to Fabulous on Sunset Walk at thecentre:mk, between Friday 11 and Sunday 13 February 2011.
For shoppers to monitor the progress of the melting heart, daily updates will be posted to thecentre:mk website and Facebook page, the winner will be announced once the ice sculpture has melted.
