Vince Vaughn welcomes daughter

Vince Vaughn’s wife Kyla Weber has given birth to their first child together.

The couple welcomed a daughter into the world at a hospital in Vince’s hometown of Chicago on Saturday morning. They have named the baby, who weighed 7lbs and was 20 inches long, Locklyn Kyla Vaughn, a representative for the actor said.

Both mother and baby are believed to be doing well and Vince is looking forward to spending Christmas at home with the family.

"Both of them couldn't be happier to welcome their sweet little girl into their family!" a friend of the couple's reported.

Vince and former estate agent Kyla revealed their happy news in July. Last year, the 40-year-old funnyman admitted that he was finally feeling ready to settle down and become a father.

"It's the first time that I really want to have kids,” he said.

Vince and Kyla tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Chicago in January.
