Mobile network EE says superfast 4G broadband will be rolled out in Norwich and Ipswich by the end of this year.

It will offer businesses and people in Norfolk and Suffolk mobile broadband of up to five times faster than 3G.

This next phase is targeting major commuter routes, shopping centres and airports as well as other cities including Bath, Brighton and Cambridge.

Over 500,000 customers signed up to 4G just seven months after it launched. It was the fastest 4G customer take up in Europe.
