Two young boys have reported being approached by two separate men in Bungay.

Police are asking anyone who was in the Castle Hills Park/ Priory Lane area around 2.30pm – 3.15pm on Saturday (3rd May) to come forward.

The boys, aged seven and nine, went to the park with their father and his partner and had to be persuaded to leave when it was time to go.

Later in the day, when the two returned home, they told their mother they had been approached by two separate men while they were in the park area. The seven year old said he had been approached by a man who had offered him sweets to go with him. He had run to his brother and both boys were then approached by another man who had offered to help them find their dad.

The first man was described a white, in his 40s, of skinny build with dark eyebrows and yellow/ brown teeth. He was wearing a dark green T-shirt with holes in and of ragged appearance with hairy arms with old tattoos on. The second man is described as either white with a tanned complexion or of mixed race with messy hair.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area around this time regardless of whether you think you saw anything or not.

If you were there or have any information please call PC Simon Green by dialling 101, quoting reference BE/14/502.
