A 49 year old man has appeared in court after being charged under the explosives act after a suspicious device was found under a car in Buxton at the weekend.
Jonathan Taylor, of Southwell Road, has been charged with doing an act with intent to cause an explosion likely to endanger life or damage property.
The charge relates to suspicious device found under the informants car on Coltishall Road shortly after 11am.
Taylor has been remanded in custody and will appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on the 13th September.
Two other men aged 25 and 35 arrested in connection with the incident have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
