Police are appealing for witnesses after two incidents where a man approached teenage girls.
The first girl was approached on 16 May at around 8.30am in Tayfen Road.
The victim, aged 15, was walking across the carpark behind Wilkinsons when a man came up to her and commented that she 'was nice' and asked her questions including her name and what school she went to.
He began getting close to her and making her feel uncomfortable so she dropped back to speak to a group of girls, the man then went on to speak to another girl walking ahead of her.
The man is described as white with a tanned complexion, between 30 and 40 years old, around 5ft 7in tall, of slim build, with a shaved head, stubble and yellow teeth. He was wearing a short-sleeved striped t-shirt, jeans and trainers.
The second incident happened yesterday between 4.05pm and 4.15pm on Cotton Lane.
A 15-year-old girl was walking along the street and into a car park when a man grabbed her arm. She pulled away but the man tried to engage her in conversation and got close to her before she could get away from him.
The man is described as white, between 17 and 22-years-old, around 5ft 8in tall, of slim build, with short dark blonde hair and bad teeth. He was wearing a black hooded top and was riding a small BMX bike.
