Six people have been rescued from a sinking boat off the Norfolk coast.

A lifeboat from Caister, one from Happisburgh and a helicopter from Wattisham were called out to the Winterton area just after midday yesterday (Sunday, August 3rd).

Six people were on-board a dive boat.

No-one was hurt.

A lifeboat spokesman said the weight of the diving equipment that was on-board meant the boat was taking on water quickly, and that the divers had been very lucky.
