Two people have been arrested after police found a cannabis factory at a house in London Road South on Saturday morning, 31 July.

The factory was discovered by officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT).

They recovered more than 190 plants, more than 360 stalks of plants and a further 240 root bulbs as well as several kilos of loose leaf material and associated growing equipment. Plants, plant material and growing equipment was found in six rooms at the property.

The two people – a 16-year-old boy and a 35-year-old man – were arrested nearby by SNT officers and were taken to Lowestoft Police Station for questioning. Both have now been bailed to return at the end of September.
