Four people have been taken to hospital after a serious car crash at Carleton Rode in Norfolk early this morning.
It happened at around 1.10am today, Monday 30 September, on the B1113 Norwich Road close to the junction between The Turnpike and Fen Road.
A black Vauxhall Corsa was travelling in the direction of New Buckenham when it left the road and collided with a tree.
The car contained four people, two women and two men, who were taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment.
The road was closed until just before 6am to allow emergency services to attend the scene.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who believes they may have seen a black Vauxhall Corsa in the Wymondham area prior to the incident or witnessed the collision itself.
Witnesses are asked to contact PC Matthew Gouldsmith at Norfolk Constabulary on 101.
