Dereham: Man Charged After Nightclub Assault

A man's been charged after an assault in a Dereham nightclub left a man needing surgery.

A 22-year-old Ben Brunton of Podmore Lane in Scarning, will appear in court after an incident on Sunday 20 January 2013, where a man received a blow to the face whilst at Splitz nightclub in Quebec Street.

The 24-year-old victim was taken to hospital as a result of the attack where he underwent surgery for a broken jaw.

Brunton has been bailed to appear at King's Lynn Magistrates' Court on Friday 3 May at 9.30am.
