Diss: Body Found In Burnt-Out Caravan

An investigation has started after a body was found inside a burnt out caravan in Diss in Norfolk.
Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body in the remains of the burnt out caravan in Diss on Saturday night.
At approximately 8:20pm, a concerned member of the public made police aware of a caravan on fire near the railway track on Sawmill Road in the town. After the fire had been contained by Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service, a body a male was recovered.
The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries continue with the area being sealed off over the weekend.
Forensic investigators are now trying to establish the cause of the fire in conjunction with the fire service.
Formal identification of the male victim is still to take place but next of kin have been informed.
