Earsham: Cyclist Suffers Serious Injuries On A143

A cyclist is in hospital with serious injuries after a crash near Bungay.
It happened on the A143 Old Railway Road shortly after 9am yesterday morning when a cyclist and grey Renault Laguna were involved in a collision.
Emergency services attended the scene and the cyclist, a man in his 50s, suffered injuries to his hip, pelvis and spine and was airlifted to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable. No one in the car was injured.
The incident happened at the junction with Station Road and Hall Road and police are keen to trace the driver of a white Ford Transit van, or a similar vehicle, which was in the area prior to the incident.
