An emergency treatment tent has had to be put up outside A and E at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital after a busy weekend.
The tent was set up as ambulances lined up to get their patients to casualty.
Anna Dugdale, Chief Executive for the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital said: "We were extremely busy over the weekend. We made a decision with the ambulance trust to put the tent up simply as a precaution at about six o’clock last night. We agreed by quarter to eight that the tent would be stood down, it wasn’t used and was dismantled later that evening.”
