Felixstowe: Body Of A Man Found On The Beach

The body of a man has been found washed up on the beach in Felixstowe this afternoon.

Police were contacted by a member of the public just after 12.30pm, who had reported finding a body on the beach near Buregate Road. It appeared to have been in the water for some time.

Police are trying to identify the man, and have found a quantity of Euros on the body.

It's thought it could be linked to two men that were seen jumping off a ferry near Harwich in Essex in February. It's thought they were Albanians that were refused entry to the UK.

Suffolk Police are investigating along with Essex police.
