Norfolk Police are telling Heart they are not treating the death of a woman found dead in a garden pond in West Norfolk as suspicious.
Officers were called to a property in Cedar Way, Gayton at around 3:45pm Tuesday 18 June, following reports that the body of a woman had been discovered in a garden pond.
A police spokesperson says that investigations continue, but initial enquiries suggest that the death is not suspicious and no further information relating to the deceased will be released until formal identification has taken place and next of kin have been informed.
Her Majesty’s Coroner will be notified in due course.
