Gorleston: Police Launch Murder Investigation

Police have launched a murder investigation in Gorleston after a man found with serious injuries died in hospital.
Police were investigating a serious assault in Gorleston which left a man with life threatening injuries. But officers say 51-year-old Malcolm Pratt has died in hospital.
Malcolm, known as Hank, was found collapsed inside in his home by police on Exeter Road on Monday 15 July after concerns were raised for the residents' welfare.
He was initially treated at the James Paget University Hospital and later transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge where he died yesterday, Friday 26 July.
Officers are now treating the incident as murder.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen Mr Pratt on Friday 12 or Saturday 13 July or noticed any suspicious activity in the Exeter Road area over that weekend.
