Great Yarmouth: Man In Court After A Girl Is Attacked With Metal Pole

A man who's been charged with attacking a 15-year-old girl in Great Yarmouth with a metal pole, before robbing her, has appeared in court today.

21-year-old Nathan Arnold, of Howard Street North, appeared in Norwich Magistrates Court charged with robbery and assault.

He's being held in custody until his appearance at Norwich Crown Court on Friday 4 April.

A teenage girl was walking along Beatty Close in Great Yarmouth in the early hours of last Sunday morning when she was approached by a man who hit her with a metal pole and stole her phone.

The victim suffered a broken arm.
