Hainford: Man Run Over After Argument

A man's been hit by a car after an argument in Hainford in Norfolk.
The man in his 60s has leg injuries and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.
The incident took place at around 8.30pm on Friday in the Lady Lane area of the village.
The victim approached the driver of a pick-up style truck and, after an altercation, the driver drove away. As the truck left the area it collided with the victim resulting in him sustaining a leg injury.
He was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment but his injuries are not believed to be serious.
Norfolk Police told Heart: "Enquiries are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident but officers are keen to trace the driver of the vehicle who is believed to have driven off on the direction of Buxton. He has been described as white, aged 40 to 50 of slim to medium build and with dark hair. The vehicle is believed to have been light in colour and had lights along the top of the roof."
