An 18-year-old man has been charged in connection with the stabbing of a man in Dillwyn Street in Ipswich.
Police were called to a flat in the road just after 6.40pm on Saturday 4th January, and found the man with stab wounds to his body.
The 42-year-old remains in Addenbrookes hospital in a stable condition.
In the early hours yesterday (10th January) police carried out a warrant at an address in west Ipswich and arrested two people and took them to the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre.
Steven Gunnell, of Foulden Road, London has subsequently been charged with wounding with intent.
He is now due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court today (11th January).
A 25-year-old woman from Ipswich was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm. She has been released on police bail and is due to return on Tuesday 4th March.
