Lowestoft: Couple Attacked By Man With Knife

A man and a woman have been attacked by a man who had a knife in Lowestoft.

The 30-year-old man and 22-year-old woman told officers they had walked along Summer Road into Till Road and up the alleyway leading to Camp Road when a man armed with a knife jumped out and attacked them.  

It happened between 11:30 and midnight lastnight (29th April).

The woman sustained a 5cm cut to her face and the 30-year-old a cut to his foot before the offender fled.

Police are investigating what happened, and possible motives for it, and are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area around this time who may have seen or heard any dispute or altercation.
