Lowestoft Grenade Threat: Man Charged

A 48-year-old man is due to appear at Lowestoft Magistrates Court this morning charged with threatening to commit criminal damage.

Steven Eade, from Lowestoft High Street, is charged with making threats to a Suffolk Police 999 calltaker to throw a hand grenade and blow up Lowestoft Police Station. 

The incident is alleged to have happened on Sunday 23rd September and Steven Eade was arrested yesterday, Monday 24th. 

He was interviewed before being charged to appear at court this morning.
