Lowestoft : Man Threatened In Armed Robbery

A shop worker was involved in a struggle with a man after being threatened with a knife during a robbery in St Peters Street in Lowestoft last night.

The robbery happened just before 9.00pm at the Bottle and Basket shop.

The member of staff was inside the shop when the man entered and demanded the till to be handed over.

After a brief struggle, the shop worker was threatened with a knife and the man ran off with the till towards Burton Street.

Police are looking to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time.
