Boxing bronze medal winner Anthony Ogogo is telling Heart he feels humbled by the support he had from people in East Anglia ahead of a special celebration being planned for him in his home town of Lowestoft on Tuesday.
He says he stayed off Facebook and Twitter whilst he was there, and was amazed by the amount of support he has shown by everyone when he logged back on.
Anthony will arrive at the stage at 5pm in a convertible car which will leave from Station Square before going up London Road North to take him to the event.
The afternoon’s celebrations are being put together by the Lowestoft Charter Trustees, Lowestoft Town Centre Partnership and Waveney District Council, with generous assistance and support from BHS among others.
