Lowestoft: Wife Sentenced Over Driving Death

A wife who admitted causing her husbands death by hitting him with her car has been sentenced.

26 year old Suzanne Knox from Barley Croft in Hemsby in Norfolk admitted causing the death of her husband, 30 year old Anthoney Knox, last September.

She'd gone out looking for him in her car after they'd had a row and he had walked out.

Suzanne pleaded guilty to causing death by careless driving and was given a nine month prison sentence suspended for two years, at Ipswich Crown Court.

She was also given 18 months supervision, 100 hours of unpaid work and banned from driving for 12 months.

Knox will also have to attend six sessions of a Women's Emotional Wellbeing programme.
