Police are trying to find a Hollesley Bay prisoner who went missing from the prison overnight on Saturday 11th – Sunday 12th December.
41-year-old Wayne Ward who was serving 42 months for house burglary, left the prison between 11pm on Saturday night and 8am on Sunday morning.
He is described as white, 5ft 11ins tall, of slight build, with blue eyes and short cropped brown hair. He has a two-inch scar on his left wrist
He has connections to the Southend area of Essex.
If anyone sees Ward they should phone the police with the details. They should not approach him or take any further action.
