Needham Market: Man Arrested For Serious Assault

A 21-year-old man has been arrested following the assault of two men on Sunday.

A man in his thirties was taken to Addenbrookes with serious head injuries after police were called to a group of men fighting on the High Street in Needham Market.

The man is in a stable condition in hospital. Another man in his sixties received minor injuries and was taken to West Suffolk hospital.

A 21-year-old man from the Stowmarket area has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and is currently being held in custody at the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
