The new Police and Crime Commissioners in Norfolk and Suffolk are starting their new jobs this week.

The brand new elected role will be a new public and answerable face for the police in both counties and will be in charge of things like setting a policing plan, deciding on budgets and hiring and firing Chief Constables if required.

Stephen Bett is the independent candidate who won the election in Norfolk last Thursday.
