Norfolk: Man Robbed By Men With Knife and Poker

A man's been assaulted and robbed in West Caister in Norfolk by two other men with a knife and a poker.

Police are appealing for information following a robbery in West Caister yesterday, Sunday 12 February 2012.

Just before 10pm a man and a woman in their 20s had been dropped off by a black taxi on Castle Lane when the man was approached and was assaulted by two other men. One of the offenders had a knife and the other a poker.

A green fabric bag containing various items including cash and personal documents was stolen. The man suffered minor injuries.

One of the offenders is described as of large build and was wearing a black woollen hat and a black raincoat.

A suspicious small white car, possibly a Ford Fiesta, was also seen in the area.

Officers want to speak to anyone who may have seen the two offenders or the car in the area around the time of the robbery, or anyone with any information about this incident.
