Norfolk & Norwich Festival's Final Feast

The Norfolk & Norwich Festival holds it's final event this weekend, and marks it's closing with a Festival Feast.

Saturday 26th May at the Festival Gardens in Norwich will see a final gathering to celebrate the Norfolk & Norwich Festival. Featuring a tea dance in front of the bandstand, an inter-generational dance theatre performance by the Ragroof Theatre Company and a special walkabout appearance by Dinosaur Petting Zoo.

Dinosaur Petting Zoo

The Dinosaur Petting Zoo gives families the chance to get up close and personal with a dinosaur and feed and care for life-like prehistoric models, all for the first time in 65 million years. The show has come all the way from Australia and has been seen at venues and schools all around Norfolk in the last few weeks. 

Other entertainment includes:

  • Wet Picnic present THE BIRTHDAY PARTY, 
  • Ragroof Dance Theatre Company present MAKE DO AND MEND, 
  • HOUND OF THE BUSKERVILLES present themselves in all their musical magnificence, 
  • Rimski present RIMSKI’S BICYCLE PIANO, 
  • BUREAU OF SILLY IDEAS present their usual surprises and unique brand of chaos, 
  • Company FF present the inimitable BRAMBLE FM, 
  • Stuff ‘n Things present AUDIOBSCURA

Organisers promise that the fun will go on right up until the last minute, and will feature plenty of other surprises. Tables and seating will be provided; all guests need to bring is food.

 

Entry to the Festival Feast is free, and will be held in Norwich Festival Gardens Saturday 26th May, 11am - 5pm.
