Norwich: Indecent Assault in Alleyway

Police are appealing for witnesses following an indecent assault in Norwich yesterday, Sunday 29 July 2012.

A woman in her 20s had walked north from the city centre between 2.15am and 2.35am. When she walked through an alleyway off Silver Street a man approached from behind, put his hands on her neck and pulled at her clothing. She kicked out at the man who ran off. The woman was unhurt.

The man is described as white, 6 foot tall, in his late 20s, of athletic build with a bald head and round face and was wearing black clothing.

Officers want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen the man before or after the incident.
