Norwich: Man Suffers Head Injuries After Assault

A man's been left with a sunken skull and fractured eye socket after being assaulted in Norwich.

It happened on Sunday 2 December at some point between 12.30am and 12.45am.

The assault took place on the footpath near the Thai River Floating Restaurant.

The victim was walking along with his girlfriend when she was verbally abused by a female who then approached her. The victim asked the female to leave his girlfriend alone but started thumping his girlfriend.

Two males then approached with possibly a third individual and asked the victim to leave the female alone.

The two males then started punching the victim to the head. The victim and his girlfriend then walked towards the train station boundary by which time the other group left.

The female is described as white, approximately five foot seven inches tall, slim build, black straight hair neck length, light blue top and black trousers.

The first male is described as white, about five foot 11 inches tall, medium length black straight hair, medium build, with a red or blue chequered shirt.

The second male is described as white with blonde hair.

There is no description about any third male.
