Norwich: Man's Condition Now Critical After Attack

Detectives investigating a serious assault in Norwich at the weekend have confirmed the victim has been moved to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.

The victim's condition has since deteriorated, resulting in the 31-year-old being transferred Addenbrooke's Hospital in a critical but stable condition.

A 19-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He was questioned by detectives at Aylsham Police Investigation Centre on Sunday and released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.

Six other men were arrested in connection with the incident – no further action will be taken against four, aged between 18 and 30, while two men aged 18 and 29, arrested on suspicion of affray, have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
