Norwich: Plans on Show for NDR

People in Norfolk will be able to get a first look this week at detailed plans for the Norwich Northern Distributor road.
After years of planning, Norfolk County Council’s cabinet made the decision to proceed with the planning application in early April 2012.
£86.5m has been allocated by the Government to cover the road from Postwick to the A140 at Norwich International Airport.
The idea is build a road around the top of the city to improve traffic in the area.
The exhibitions will feature a plan of the entire route, from the A47 at Postwick to the A1067 Norwich to Fakenham Road. A virtual aerial tour will also be available for visitors, which will provide a good general impression of the road. You will have the opportunity to have your say and comment on the exhibition.
The exhibitions are being held through April and May, starting in Rackheath on Thursday 19th April, and concluding with an all-day exhibition at the forum, Norwich on the 11th June.
