Norwich: Security Scare At MP Chloe Smith's Office

There's been a security scare at the offices of Norwich North MP Chloe Smith.

Police and paramedics were called on Friday after a handwritten letter sent to Chloe Smith's office in Vulcan Road turned out to be full of white powder.

Norfolk Police have told Heart: “Officers were called to a property in Vulcan Road North, Norwich, at shortly before 11am on Friday 23 August following reports of a suspicious package. The package has been examined and the contents analysed and not deemed to be harmful. At no stage was there any threat to the surrounding community however investigations are ongoing to identify the sender.”
