Norwich: Woman Dies After Flat Fire

A woman's died a week after a flat fire in Norwich.
Police have confirmed to Hear that a woman in her 60s who suffered life-threatening injuries after a fire last week has died in hospital.
Emergency services were called to an address in Shorncliffe Avenue in Mile Cross on Friday 24 May shortly after 11.30am.
Three people were inside the flat. A man and a woman were treated for smoke inhalation and a second woman, aged 64, was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where she sadly died earlier today, Wednesday 29 May.
The cause of the fire is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the Coroner.
