A 21-year-old Norfolk woman who tweeted about hitting a cyclist in her car has been summonsed to court.

Norfolk Constabulary have told Heart that a summons has been issued to Emma Way, of Akrotiri Square, Watton, to answer charges of driving without due care and attention, failing to stop after an accident and failing to report that accident.

This follows an incident in Rockland All Saints on Sunday 19 May 2013, involving a cyclist.

A case file has now been passed to CPS East of England who will prepare the case for court.

Emma Way will appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on Friday 16 August 2013.
