Norwich: Woman Threatened With Knife

Police are looking for a man after he threatened a woman in Norwich with a knife on Tuesday night.

Detectives in Norwich are appealing for information following an attempted robbery near Anglia Square.

The incident happened in Sovereign Way on Tuesday 14 February between 7.50pm and 8.15pm when the victim, a 44-year-old woman who was waiting at a bus stop, was approached by a man in his late 20s.

The man demanded money from the woman who refused, explaining she only had her bus pass and nothing else. The man then threatened the victim with a knife before running from the scene towards the city centre.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information concerning it.
