Roughton: Second Man Charged After Petrol Station Robbery

A second man's been charged after a robbery at a petrol station in Roughton near Cromer in Norfolk.


Its after two men armed with a knife broke into Roughton Service Station near Cromer in Norfolk last August and threatened a member of staff before taking cash and cigarettes.

Alfred Chambers, aged 30 and of London Road, Mitcham in Surrey, has been detained in police custody to appear before Norwich Magistrates Court today (January 12 2012).

Armed Robbery At Petrol Station

A worker has been threatened with a knife during a robbery at a service station at Roughton in Norfolk this morning.

Police were called to the service station after reports of an armed robbery at 3.20am.

Two men entered the building through a kiosk window, threatening the attendant with a knife, before leaving with cash and cigarettes.

The Service Station is currently closed whilst Police look for more evidence.
