Norfolk Police are telling Heart a review's taking place of a murder where a girl's body was found on the royal estate in Sandringham.

The remains of 17-year-old Alisa Dmitriyeva form Wisbech was discovered in woodland at Anmer in January 2012. She'd been missing for four months.

No-one's been charged with the teenager's murder.

Norfolk Police have told Heart they want to make sure nothing was missed and that it's a routine review as is common for cases which are unsolved.

In a statement they said: “Work remains on-going in preparation for a file for the inquest into the death of Alisa Dmitrijeva. Anyone with information which may assist this investigation should contact the Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team on 101. We will continue to work closely with the Coroner as the file is prepared for inquest with no date currently set.

"Preparation for a file for the inquest continues, and as is routine in such cases that remain unsolved, a review of the investigation is taking place to ensure nothing was overlooked. This will need to be completed before any inquest takes place.”
