Sheringham: Two Men Charged With Sex Offences At School

Norfolk Constabulary has today charged two men with serious sexual offences against children at two former independent schools in Norfolk and Lincolnshire.

Brian Greenhalgh, aged 63, formerly of Suffield near North Walsham, has been charged with five counts of gross indecency, four counts of indecent assault and one count of buggery. The charges relate to six male victims under the age of 16.

Ken Wells, aged 76, and of Bracken Dale, Leicester, has been charged with gross indecency against a boy aged under 16.

The offences, in the main, are alleged to have taken place in the 1970s and 1980s at the former Sheringham Court School in Norfolk and the former Thurlby Manor School in Lincolnshire.

Wells has been bailed and Greenhalgh remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on Friday 18 October 2013.Sheringham:
