Shipdham: Woman Dies In Head-On Crash

A woman's died after a crash in Shipdham in Norfolk yesterday evening.

The crash happened on the A1075 Watton Road at around 4.15pm and involved a metallic yellow Renault Clio and a white Ford transit flat-bed.

The Clio was travelling in the Watton direction when it was involved in a head-on collision with the transit travelling in the opposite direction.

The female driver of the Clio died at the scene. The male driver of the transit and his male passenger have minor.

A blue Saab was in the area at the time, but it is not thought to have been directly involved.

The road was closed for most of the evening to allow emergency services to help the injured and for police to investigate.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who believes they may have seen the Clio or the transit before the crash or the crash itself.
