Ipswich soldiers are launching their own range of Christmas cards to raise money for charity.

The 158 Transport Regiment which has a squadron in Ipswich will be appearing on the Christmas Cards and all the money raised from selling the cards will be going to The Army Benevolent Fund.

Captain Paul Davy told Heart, "The soldiers charity provides a huge support for serving and retired soldiers and their families and it's totally relevant to operational commitments in the current climate with Afghanistan.

"They provide support in terms of home modifications for returning soldiers that have unfortunately suffered disability and support for the families in terms of being able to provide for them so that's why we are doing the cards."

The cards will be available from stores all over the country.
