One person has died and another is in a critical condition after a crash on the A140 last night.
The crash happened at Stuston near Diss around 4.30pm yesterday afternoon.
Police say they were called to reports of a collision between two cars – a BMW and a Toyota Corolla and a lorry.
The driver of the Toyota – the 62-year-old from the Wymondham area – was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man, the 23-year-old driver of the BMW, who is from the Diss area, was taken to Addenbrookes with serious injuries and is in a critical condition.
The lorry driver was treated for shock.
Officers were still at the scene late into the night as part of the initial investigation into what happened.
The road was closed between the B1118 and the junction with the B1077 for more than 14 hours after the crash happened and reopened just before 7.30am.
