Suffolk Fire Service April Fool

The Fire Service in Suffolk have done a great April Fools wind up about their uniforms.

They announced early on April 1st that they were going to issue all their firefighters with pink helmets to 'to soften the image of the service and make it more appealing to people'.

They also claimed that pink is a lot of people's favorite colour - and so that is why they came up with the new look head gear.

It was of course a big April fools joke, and there are no plans to get rid of their normal yellow helmets.
