Swaffham: Two Arrested After Umbrella Attack

Norfolk police have been telling Heart that two men have been arrested after a man was attacked with an umbrella and metal object at the weekend.

It happened on Pleasant Row at some point between 1.50pm and 2.10pm on Saturday 16 June.

A man in his 50s was hit on the hand by an umbrella by a man which caused swelling to two fingers. The offender then left the scene and returned  with a second male who produced a metal object from the glovebox of the vehicle he was in and hit the victim with the object. The victim sustained a bump to the back of the head and bruising and swelling to the eye and a cut to his nose.

The two men have now been bailed.
