Police are closing lanes on the A11 in Norfolk to search for a missing Thetford man.

Tomasz Czech went missing from his Chester Way home on Friday night (24 May), leaving at about 6pm to take his dog for a walk. He has not been seen or heard from since.

He is described as white, approximately 5ft 8 in height and of average build. He has black hair and was wearing a black jacket with green markings on it, blue jeans and black trainers when last seen.

The dog is described as being a large brown boxer dog and Tomasz would normally walk his dog for extended periods in the wooded area and pathways adjacent to the Little River Ouse towards the general direction of Brandon before returning home along the same general direction.

Following the discovery of the dog's collar at the side of the A11 near the Brandon Road roundabout, officers are today, Wednesday 29 May, searching the nearby area for Tomasz and his dog.

Police want to hear from anyone who may have seen Tomasz or a loose brown boxer dog in the Thetford and Brandon areas.

Anyone with information concerning his whereabouts should contact Norfolk Police on 101.
