Unemployment Up In East Anglia

Unemployment is UP in East Anglia, although the number of people out of work has fallen nationally.

The number of people without a job increased by 1,000 in the three months to November 2012, official figures have revealed.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) said that a total of 207,000 people were unemployed in the region between September and November.

Nationally the figure fell by 37,000 to 2.49 million - the lowest number since June 2011.
