Yarmouth: Owners of Super Casino Announced

We're a step closer to getting a las vegas-style super casino in Yarmouth.
The people who've been given permission to run the new development in Yarmouth in Norfolk have been announced.
Its hoped it'll bring more visitors to the area and create new jobs.
Its after a big meeting today by the Licensing Committee to consider the two applications for the Large Casino Licence.
Palatial Leisure Ltd. in respect of the Great Yarmouth Palace, Church Plain, Great Yarmouth, NR30 1PL
Pleasure and Leisure Property Corporation Plc in respect of the proposed ‘Edge’ development on land to the south of the Pleasure Beach, South Beach Parade, Great Yarmouth, NR30 3EH
Detailed scoring resulted in Pleasure and Leisure being awarded 2,200 points and Palatial being awarded 2,042 points.
It was the unanimous decision of the Licensing Committee that the application by Pleasure and Leisure would be likely to result in the greatest benefit to the Borough.
A final agreement needs to be made with Pleasure and Leisure before the Provisional Statement is issued.
