After a night of heavy snow onto the already frozen ground, nearly 500 schools have been closed across Norfolk and Suffolk.
It means a number of schools have been shut since last Tuesday.
There were also travel problems through the morning with Norwich airport closed until mid-morning and Greater Anglia trains having to cut some of their peak time services because of slow running services.
Bus services were also hit with First buses having to cancel routes in Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth for a time, and delays around Ipswich and Norwich.
Forecasters are warning that the could weather could remain with us for much of the week.
